So Old!

So - Aidan is a year old. I totally can't believe it. It seems like we just brought him home, yet I can't really remember what it was like before he was born.

He is starting to talk! He can say Da-da, Bye-bye, Nite-nite, Kitty, and Na-na. (He's STILL calling me Na-na). And he can sign Milk and More. More as in more food! He thinks that I should understand all the things that he "says", and I don't. I guess I'll get it one day.

Speaking of milestones, Aidan had an important one the other week - I finally let him have real sugar - at Britt's Doughnuts! (For those of you that don't know, Britt's is a landmark at Carolina Beach, and they make The Best Doughnuts on the planet, period). He loved it! But then the sugar made him completely insane, so he spent the drive back from the beach growling at my mom and giggling.

We tried to get Aidan's handprints for my scrapbook, but he had other ideas. Check out the little artist:
